The City of Phoenix Street Transportation Department has shared an update about the 3rd Avenue from Indian School to Camelback Roads bike lane extension project.
In July 2022, the department hosted a live virtual public meeting to discuss three potential options with the community. Based on community feedback and residents’ usage of the road in front of their property, the department re-evaluated the three options that had been presented. A new design with elements of the second and third options was created to better address the community’s needs. The city has decided, based on community feedback, to go with option C.
