Indian School/Central proposed development heads to planning commission for approval

The Encanto Village Planning Committee voted in favor of the proposed apartments after the developer, Toll Brothers, spruced up the building’s facades, designated a space for a cafe/bistro on the ground floor, increased the outdoor public space along Central Avenue and added several ground-level live/work spaces along Indian School Road, according to This Melrose Life.


The rezoning case now heads to the the City of Phoenix Planning Commission Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. Find full meeting details here if you'd like to attend and make your opinion heard.

About the proposed development:

  • This is a new high-end apartment development consisting of approximately 402 units and approximately 56 feet tall.

  • The parking behind for these units will be provided behind the buildings.

  • The existing billboard on the northwest corner of Central and Indian School will be removed.
